Currently, D.S.T.V. Obvius has two confidants. A confidant is an easily accessible point of contact for members or other parties involved in Obvius. If something is bothering you, you can go to a confidant. This can differ from undesirable behaviour like (sexual) intimidation, aggression, and violence, bullying, or discrimination to the point where you think your problem is less important. In every situation, our confidants are there for you to talk to.

Our confidants are no professionals but will try to find an appropriate way to solve your problem. Sometimes just a talk is enough but it could be that new measures are necessary and then you could be directed to other organisations. Before any action is taken, this will be discussed between you and the confidant. 

All the rights and obligations of a confidant are written down in the description of a confidant. This document is in Dutch but do not hesitate to contact one of the confidants or the board if you have any questions.
